How can you sell prescriptions for less than the cost at my regular pharmacy?
The medications used at myPharmacyonline.ca are identical to the medications you receive from any other Canadian pharmacy. The difference in price is unrelated to the medication but rather due to the lean operating costs of our pharmacy. Our pharmacy is not a walk-in retail pharmacy located in an expensive high profile area with a costly merchandized front-store and associated operating costs. Since such expenses are absent from our business model, there is no need for the traditional charges associated with a prescription, we are even able to discount further and sell below the cost in some cases since pharmacies in BC and Canada!
Do you sell medication to the U.S.A.?
We do not actively endeavor to sell medication to the United States; but, just as traditional Canadian pharmacies, we cannot legally deny providing medication to an American Citizen if presented with a legal Canadian prescription.
How do I get my prescriptions to you?
By filling out our simple order form, we will contact your physician or previous pharmacy and quickly obtain an active prescription for your medication. You can also upload an image of your paper prescription, just remember to write to word "COPY" on it in pen.
How long does it take to ship my medication?
Depending on your location within Canada, it can take anywhere from 3-6 business days. We do offer expedited shipping at an additional charge. We encourage our patients to order their medication 2 weeks in advance (this "overlap" is covered by the BC government). We also have “Auto-fill”, which will schedule your medication that you take on a regular basis and ship it out to you without you having to actively re-order it. What happens when I run out of refills? If you run out of refills, we will contact your doctor for you to obtain refills. If your physician wants to see you, we will then send you a reminder email that your doctor wishes to see you. In some cases we will be able to provide you with an emergency supply to maintain your continuity of care.
Can you send me an emergency supply?
In some cases we are able to supply patients with an interim supply until they are able to obtain a proper prescription from their doctor. This is an exception to the rule and not the rule. Patients must have an established relationship with myPharmacyonline.ca in order for any interim supply to be provided, among other requirements.
Can you bill my provincial insurance plan?
